Thanks for the feedback! We’ve updated the homepage layout for our next release. The repeated unit name has been removed from the hero, and the Scout account and visit cards have been moved below the hero and made more compact. This gives your unit’s photo much more room to stand out. BONUS: Lot's of new functionality/design features for the homepage/hero and design improvements!

Thanks, George — this is exactly the kind of feedback we’re using to shape the next round of unit-website improvements. We’re planning a cleaner, shorter homepage banner that gives unit artwork more room, with the account and visit actions moved into smaller sections below it. We’re also working toward easier control over homepage and About-page content, fewer repeated sections, a public agenda-style calendar, and a better way to highlight selected resource pages in navigation. Longer term, we’re exploring lightweight editing directly from the public site, while keeping layouts consistent, mobile-friendly, and simple for volunteers to maintain. We’ll break this work into focused updates and share progress here as each piece is scoped and released.
